You may use an asterisk * as a wild card anywhere in the search term. Steam locomotives aren't identified as such -- they're listed by wheel pattern (e.g., 4-8-4). You can find most of them by searching for *-6-*, *-8-* and *-10-*. Character groups of one or two letters/numbers are ignored, so a search for Dash 9 will bring up Dash 7, Dash 8, and Dash 9. You can find the Dash 9's by searching for 9-4*.
